Open plan living with bedroom, dressing and shower / toilet facilities discretely screened, respecting the architecture of the old markets building.All rates include breakfast, VAT and local taxes.Chondros Room The Chondros room, named after an Island off the coast of Symi, offers a stunning sanctuary for a couple, with separate dressing area, twin showers and basins. Situated on the ground floor of the Captain's mansion, the room overlooks a secluded courtyard garden and is close to the pool house.Nimos room The Nimos room with a balcony overlooking Symi's enchanting harbour, is ideal for a couple. High ceilings and a traditional moussandra give the bedroom a light and spacious feel, leading through to luxury ensuite facilities.Ottoman Room Compact but with huge amounts character, the Ottoman room – originally in a baker’s store at the Old Markets - has been preserved and is designed as a luxury en-suite in the style of a Hammam (Turkish bath). Great for short stays for a couple or longer stays for the solo traveller.Ouranos Suite The Ouranos (sky) Suite, situated at the top of Captain's Mansion, has spectacular views over Symi's enchanting harbour to the sea and sky beyond. Sleeping upto 4 people, the Suite has 2 private balconies (one off the bedroom, one off the living room) and offers guests a private entrance and 50m2 of luxury living.Stroggilos Room Named after a small Island off the south coast of Symi, the Stroggilos room offers modest yet elegant accommodation suitable for a single person or couple. The room is accessed though the courtyard garden at the Captain's Mansion and offers a Kingsized bed, air-conditioning, ensuite facilities and easy access to the pool houseSymi Suite Our master suite takes its inspiration the beautiful island of Symi and the sparkling Aegean Sea which surrounds her. Greek art and cool island style influence the detail and design, which includes a fully restored moussandra (sleeping platform), typical in many of Symi’s houses.The painted ceiling is another feature found locally in the grander Sea Captains mansions, whose homes were influenced by the voyages that they made. The Symi Suite allows for al fresco living and dining as required, leading onto the beautiful terrace. Finally, the crystal blue waters of the Aegean Sea, from which our Symi suite takes its inspiration, can be seen from each of the five large picture windows which frame views of the beautiful port outside.Venetian Room The Venetian room is a reminder of the most important and major port with which the Islanders traded. Shiploads of sponges, which were individually collected by Symian divers, were sent to Venice before being distributed to wealthy clients throughout Europe and the rest of the world.The room offers cool open plan living in the old agora building and is furnished with period Italian artefacts and antique paintings showing views of the city at the time.
