Those who stay at The Old Markets will find exemplary levels of comfort and service. Each of the 7 guest rooms and 3 suites, split over two properties, has been individually designed to highlight period features.

In The Agora Building 8 of the historic shops have been converted to provide 4 spacious guest rooms. The large Symi Suite on the first floor, formerly the home of the owners of the market place, is unrivalled with huge windows which each frame a different view of the harbour.

In The Captain’s Mansion, 2 spacious suites offer private balconies overlooking the harbour town and 3 elegant rooms offer flexible, well-appointed accommodation.

All guests have access to the terrace with relaxing day beds, Agora fine dining restaurant, Aethera cocktail bar and our courtyard garden.

A fine collection of artwork and antiquities are used to furnish the property. These include silver artefacts that once graced the dining table of King George I of the Hellenes and items from London’s legendary Savoy Hotel. Finest percale linen, rainfall showers and a choice of pillows offer guests additional comfort.

All rooms feature air-conditioning, LED lighting, wifi, television and luxury Korres amenities. Our pillow-topped kingsize beds offer an exceptionally comfortable nights sleep.

Rates per room per night including breakfast. We require a 50% non refundable deposit at the time of booking. Bookings cancelled within 30 days of arrival will be charged in full.

An additional single bed in some rooms and suites is available at €45 per bed per night. Some rooms can be made as twin rooms.

Exclusive Usage:

The Old Markets, or either the Agora building or Captain’s Mansion may be rented exclusively by a group.  A minimum stay of 6 nights applies for exclusive bookings. Prices upon request.

Given the unique structure of the buildings, please note that the property is not ideally suited to children under 8 years or those with mobility issues.
